How long has Aztec Events and Tents been in business?
Aztec Events and Tents has been in business over 25 years with a well seasoned and knowledgeable staff
dedicated to making your event a success.

Does Aztec require a deposit?
We require a credit card that can be authorized for 50% of the rental in order to place a reservation.

When do I pay for my rentals?
On a delivery, the credit card used for the deposit will be charged the full rental amount due 48 hours
before the delivery date. On a will call, you may pay when you pick the item up from Aztec.

Can Aztec deliver my items?
Delivery is available at a fee based on the delivery zip code. Delivery hours are during normal business
hours with minimum windows required. There is an above the first floor charge if you request above first
floor delivery. One hour delivery window is available during normal business hours for a nominal fee.
After hours delivery is available based on the time and is charged accordingly. Ask your Event Specialist
for details on delivery requirements.

Can Aztec set up my rentals?
Table, chair, linen and chair cover set up is available when requested in advance of the delivery for a set
up fee.

What should we do with items after they are used?
All china and flatware should be rinsed and placed back in the crates and racks they were delivered in.
For all items that are due for pick up, they should be placed back in their respective boxes or crates and
stacked for easy pick up.

When is the latest I can make any changes without a charge?
Any changes must be done during business hours and be at least 48 hours before the OUT DATE on the
contract to avoid a 25% restocking fee. The day of the out date, additional charges apply above the
restocking fee.

What is damage waiver?
Damage waiver modifies the responsibility of the renter regarding equipment damaged while in the
possession or control of the renter. In the case of damage, the renter will not be liable EXCEPT when
damage is due to renter’s neglect, misuse or abuse of equipment (neglect includes  but is not limited to
weather damage) and any loss or missing items. Lost or missing items will be billed to the renter at retail
replacement cost.

How are rental fees quoted and listed on the website?
All rentals are quoted as a one day charge based on time out, whether used or not. Should you desire to
use rentals longer than one day, please call our office to receive a long-term rate quote.

What if I don’t use the items rented?
Items are rented as time out. All rentals will be charged per contract whether used or not (this includes
items not used due to rain or weather conditions).

What if I have a problem with a piece of equipment and it is after business hours?
Aztec is customer service oriented and provides an after hours emergency line.  Call the office at
713.699.0088 and follow the prompts for an after hours emergency.
